Recognition

The Escola Americana takes pride in recognizing students who demonstrate exceptional academic achievement. Each quarter a Headmaster's List and Honors List are published, based on students' weighted academic average.
  • Headmaster's List: this recognition is awarded to students whose weighted academic average is 94 or above, with no weighted grade below 85.

  • Honors List: Honor Roll recognition is awarded to students whose weighted academic average is 88 or above, with no weighted grade below 80.

  • Valedictorian, Salutatorian, and Honor Graduates are recognized at graduation. These graduation awards are based on students' weighted academic averages for work done at EA beginning in the tenth grade. Students who enter EA after first semester of eleventh grade will not be eligible for this recognition. In addition to these academic honors, various departments and organizations present awards for achievement and/or service at an Awards Ceremony held in May.
