“ClassMates,” our Child-Friendly Laptops

Twelve child-friendly laptops were bought by our Technology Department, as a pilot program for Lower School, and are being used by Ms. Diane’s 5^th graders during this month.  “ClassMates” will rotate between all 5^th grade classes throughout this school year. Taking advantage of the Wi-Fi connection available in their area, students have been using these laptops to access the Internet for research projects.  After assembling the necessary information, they use Microsoft Word and PowerPoint software to create their presentations. These laptops have added special excitement to our students’ learning activities.
